It would be a good idea to disable the bid/buy buttons (much as they do under a Holiday Notice) just in case some idio<BS><BS>BS><BS>keen person decided to bid.

I agree on that one, I've just changed the price on the one I have up in case someone does. Once they let me know if it is okay to use JavaScript I will delete it myself as it is not happening automatically.
