I suffer from alot of pain and am always trying to find ways to help releave it as my pain killers (20+ a day) dont work all the time GRRRRRRRRR
A simular thing happened to me. Trouble is, you can become resistant to the effects. what kind of pain is it? as homeopathy can be a big help but I need to know the type.

2 ... At the moment i am suffering with a real chesty cough and am feeling very flemmy and seek something to help clear it up as the stuff from the chemists dont seem to be helping much
Allopathy (conventional medicine) can cause more problems than it solves as it generally hinders the bodies natural responses. As annoying as sneezing, coughing etc maybe to us they are important in clearing toxins and allowing the body it's healing proccesses.
Coughing clears the lungs of debris, including mucus. If you supress the cough it is much harder to shift and symptons will often linger.
Again homeopathy is helpful as it aids the natural responses.
Aconite (6 or 30) is good for short, dry cough
Belladonna (6 0r 30) for dry. barking cough with headache
Bryonia (6 or 30) for dry, hard coughs. Particually if it is worse in a warm room but feels better on cloudy, damp days
Causticum (6 or 30) is good if you find you can't cough deep enough
Rumex 6 or 30) for a dry, tickly cough

Eating raw garlic can help with bronchial infections as it is a strong antibiotic. The herbs coltsfoot or horehound are good too, used as an infusion.

    Had another thought

If you have or can get some essenstial oils (not fragrance oils) then steam inhalation of one of cypress oil, eucalyptus oil or sandlewood oil will help. treat twice daily. Using these oils in a burner will also help, especially if done at night

    hello

    Aromatherapy

    Any one of;

    lavender
    peppermint
    rosemary
    rosewood

use in a burner or lavender can be used neat (2 drops) rubbed into the temples or on a cold compress placed on the temples, forehead or back of neck.

    Homeopathy

Arsenicm (6) - headaches which come on after excitment
Belladonna (6) - sudden violent throbbing, pounding headache
Bryonia (6) - Bursting, splitting headache, made worse by movement
Gelsemium (6) - Dull heavy headache. Often brought on my mental stress
Nux Vomica (6) - splitting headache. best for oversensitive, irritable people

If a condition is on-going it's a good idea to see a homeopath as they will be able to prescribe a remidy based on all your indiviual symptoms, personality type etc rather than just using one of thes general remedies
