Default Share on Facebook Button changed - it does less!

When I go to share on Facebook, I only get the chance to post on my timeline - no longer to select a group. Posting in a group works better than on my timeline.

I'm not a member of Facebook so it means nothing to me.

You are doing better than I am the, as I can't share anything from the listings to Facebook at all.

I have to share to Twitter instead as Facebook won't let me share anything to my profile

Nope, I don't care at all. Sorry.

I joined FB shortly after I bought a lap-top and finding out that "Friends Reunited" had been absorbed into it. Tried to get in touch with a few old friends from my London days, all I got was total strangers asking to be my friends. So I stopped using it.

Some time later I thought about joining an ebid FB group, only to find my account had gone dormant (or possibly mobile access only??). FB wouldn't let me re-open it, close it or open another account to use.

I thought "Sod them", they're only after my data anyway and have never bothered with them since.

FB is such a spammed place now that when someone sees a post from an eBid listing they just ignore it. There are better ways to get this platform seen but we've been down that pointless road before

Sorry, I don't do facebook either.

I don't understand why some people have no problems selling over there and then there are others that have nothing but problems.

The only platform I am on is Pinterest.
I can understand that more so.

I do Farcebook, they're only really interested in making money so if you have a business page, they're always pushing you to take out paid ads and anyone who doesn't do that, they make life a little difficult by accusing people of 'spamming' their groups and blocking them.

In my opinion if you take out one of their advertising deals you can promote just whatever the hell you like, it doesn't have to be legal and they turn a blind eye to porn as well...

I had a run-in with them towards the end of last year when I reported a total of some 28 sponsored ads over three days that were blatant ripoffs and I got threatened with being banned myself for calling them out. Dual standards apply over there...

There's a persistent collective of small traders over there including myself that self promote and co promote each other but it's not a very productive medium I'm afraid...

It works for me! ... I believe it has generated many recent new buyers ... I have no problem posting to groups, especially 'ebay and ebid listings' where there is a growing large audience on Facebook.
Well worth the effort in my opinion.

    I seem to be getting all of the share options, depending on whether i am logged in as myself or a page i run, i get slightly different options, but share to a group is on both;
