Asking a seller questions

Hi, new to ebid. I asked a seller a question but it doesn't appear in my Q&A section, just says I haven't sent any questions and I'm not awaiting any replies.
The question basically asked if the seller would be willing to accept a lower price than the fixed price, do I take it I'm not allowed to ask that on ebid?
