Copied and pasted from SSAFA site......will post a proper receipt when I get one

Your donation has been received. Thank you!

Thanks to you, we can provide vital practical and emotional support to our Armed Forces, veterans and their families when they call on us for help. We greatly appreciate your donation which will help ensure they can count on us when they reach breaking point.
Thanks to you, we can support families struggling to cope with bereavement. When the sympathy cards have been put away and the flowers have gone, families like the Harrison’s, whom you read about in our recent letter to you, can find it hard to share their grief with people who have not been through the same harrowing experience. Many families tell us that our Support Groups have been a lifeline, helping them to manage and move on from their grief.
Because of your support, and that of other kind donors, amongst many other services, we will continue to provide:

    • A residential care home for our veterans.
    • Support for families with children who have an additional need or disability.
    • One-to-one mentoring support scheme for wounded, injured and sick service personnel who are making transition from the Armed Forces into civilian life.

We want those serving or who have served in our Armed Forces to know that they can depend on us for support – now and for the rest of their lives. Every year we help more than 50,000 people – thank you for helping to improve the lives of so many people in need.
