HELP! Buyer seeing notice that is not there.

I have a notice on both my stores....Slide Inn and The Bees Knees for discount postage. I ALSO have a notice on Slide Inn ONLY, as closed temporarily for a reshuffle.

HOWEVER, I have a buyer who cannot buy some items (one of which is The Bees Knees > Collectables > 149272761)

and the other a similar item, in The Bees Knees because she not only sees the Slide Inn notice, but it prevents her purchases. Please see my ASL for comments. Also see below.

When I look at the listings, they appear totally correct and available for purchase!

I believe a Holiday Notice over rides everything else despite what you see on screen.

There is a box where you check what store you want the notice to apply to, or all stores/items. I have one notice on all items, and one notice specifically for Slide Inn store.. When I look at items in Bees Knees, I do not see the notice, but buyer does, and can't buy.

Granted, I might be able to just take the notice off, but I don''t want to have Slide Inn items available until I'm done with them. If the feature doesn't work, why have it as an option?

I would think Annie is correct; you are either on holiday or not (part of you isn't while part of you is). One to take up with admin - maybe that the notice apply to the store rather than the seller.

Could you not just take Slide Inn off line while you are working on its contents.

That doesn't work. If a store is set offline then any listings in it continue to be live - just outside of any store.

I AM trying to take it up with Admin. I thought by posting in GLitches, they would investigate.

ONE of the issues I have with this is that I DON'T SEE the message that the seller sees! To me, when I go into the listing, it looks absolutely correct!

WHY is she seeing something I don't?
WHY is there the option to only include the notice on ONE store, if the option doesn't work?

p.s. Thanks for your help, all of you who have responded......I suppose I could take the message down in the meantime, and hope someones doesn't do a big buy in Slide Inn as happened a little while back. I need to reinventory before that happens! (Nice problem, by the way!)

STILL No reply from support. Two good sized sales likely lost. I'm really frustrated.
