    Default bank transfer option

i would like to tick the bank transfer option in the payment options section, what do i haveto do my end if i do so?
is it a case of just adding my bank acc' details to my all about/payments and tick the box?
also, if i wish to accept debit/credit cards what do i haveto do my end for this option?

I would also like to know the answers to this question. I guess the rules will be the same for Australia and UK.

First set up a savings type account that can recieve money but not pay out money, direct debits, etc. Do not use a current account to receive payments.

I also wouldn't make your account details public, but give them to buyers, post sale, who request to pay by that means.

Also, make sure you are aware of any bank charges that may be levied and which party (buyer/seller) pays them.

To accept credit/debit cards, without using the likes of PayPal, Skrill, etc. as an intermediary, you need a merchant account.

Thanks Forum Saint. When you think logically would you give your Direct Debit details to an unknown private individual ? But Bank Transfers are OK. I use them to pay many private or small business individuals who do small jobs ie. Gardening or Household Maintenance.
