Short and sweet, eh, Wilber? Did you read Deano's response? Since he has nearly 6,000 listings, significantly more than yours, it seems worth thinking about what he says. Especially since he's been selling here very successfully for 6 years and he always offers good advice.

Could you give his idea a try?

As a stamp seller, I would like to agree with you and with Deano, who argued very clearly, in his first post in this thread, why this idea is particularly bad for the eBid site. I would like to urge Gazza to reconsider making this change.
I have never found relisting items page by page to be particularly onerous and take the opportunity to scan the list of items before I relist them.

But I still don't see why people need to relist closed items rather than just extending the number of reposts prior to them becoming unsold? Seems like extra work to me.

I relist in batches of 25-50 - even more so in view of latest Google Shopping dictat noted in the latest eBid newsletter:

"Another matter related to the photos our sellers use that I need to mention today is to do with VERY old photos that are still in use on the site. Quite a few years ago now we used to add our eBid logo to the corner of photos that were uploaded to the site. This hasn't really been a problem until now as Google are clamping down on any photos that have any text or logos imprinted on them. Google Shopping now requires all images to be clear of these. The result is that any eBid listings you have with really old photos are ineligible for inclusion on Google Shopping. We will continue to upload them but expect them to be no-shows in Google Shopping search results from now on."

So I am now checking my relists for pictures still with the eBid logo and updating - easily done in batches

Yes, the old photos with eBid logo is an additional pain. I don't keep all my old photos and with over 10,000 items listed I am not going to take new photos. The other problem with old photos is that, in the old days, when they were uploaded eBid resized them to quite a small size but now they want them, ideally, at 1500 pixels wide.

I still think you would find it easier just to extend the number of reposts rather than doing it manually after they close.

Theres a new button that shows if you have more than one page of unsold.

It will run up to 500 immediately, any more than this it will put into a batch system that runs every couple of minutes.

    Thx,

I am with Bunsock on this, at the moment I only have about 30 listings but will be building that up slowly soon. I put everything on 10 day relists 10 times and update them a couple of weeks before they fall off the radar; by boosting the relist total from 1 or 2 back to10. This has 2 advantages: no duplicate listings and also if someone is following the listing with view to buying they do not lose the item with a change of listing number.

When I was selling a few years ago I had 300 plus items and had no problems. I am cautious about using the bulk editor though as I have found it unreliable at times, meaning that I have to manually check anything updated with it.
