Those are really pretty flowers, moonie. And I hope your groundcover does well. It's a smart idea here, as it's pretty and does keep the weeds down.
    Ta-Ta for now!

I have some more things planned for later today as I am waiting for a delivery of some multi purpose compost to turn up

I have a wooden tub to fill and the leftover compost will cover the ground cover plants I put out earlier.

After attempting to dig up weeds for a fortnight I have found the easiest tool to use is my hand trowel

I'm going to plant out the lavender that is growing in the kitchen before I kill it off

The door bell just went and my recycled rubber 'sleepers' have turned up so I now have something to stand on while I wash the front windows

"I don't know what this is or where it came from, but it's staying".

Not only will it stay but it will multiply, from seed and off-set bulbs. Where I live it naturalises and spreads freely. It's a Gladiola variety called "Byzantinus".

Glads are so beautiful!! Just be sure to leave some of the corm bulb exposed above soil. They like good drainage, too. That is gorgeous!
