Here's a list of every Ebid Facebook group that I'm in and that's still active:
Postcards For Sale on eBid
Ebid sellers great prices
eBid worldwide - Showcase your items here
Ebid - Great for Buyers & Sellers!
Great Stuff on eBid
I found some others that have been dormant for a while, but the ones above are updated every day. I was running a group for View-master sellers for a short while, but it kept getting spammed, so I shut it down. Moderating can be pretty time-consuming.
I've noticed that some people post links to the Facebook groups, but no text to go with the links. Others might disagree, but I think that's a mistake. If you just post a link, the only people who see your listing will be other members of the group. If you also put some descriptive text in your post (basically the title of your listing), then that will show up if anyone's searching Facebook for whatever you're advertising, thus increasing the chance of a sale. So for instance, let's say you're selling a scale model of King King, you might type:
12 inch plastic model of King Kong for aale
With the URL of your listing underneath the text.
That would show up if anyone's searching Facebook for posts about King Kong (or plastic models). Makes sense to me, anyway.
I'm not selling a lot on Ebid yet, but my sales have increased since I started posting my listings on Facebook - I know for a fact that I've made two or three sales recently through promoting on Facebook, so it's worth doing.
I've also found some Ebay listing groups and one for Etsy, listed below:
eBay Listings
eBay UK Sellers (Non Official)
Ebay Listings UK Only
Amazon Ebay Etsy Buy Sell Trade
EBAY LISTINGS UK..PROMOTE YOUR LISTINGS HERE
Ebay sellers worldwide
eBay Buyers & Sellers
Ebay uk
Etsy Sellers and Buyers Promote and Post
I try to post to all of these, since I do sell on all these platforms. I treat every sale on Ebay, Etsy or Amazon as a chance to promote Ebid - every order I ship includes a flyer promoting my Ebid shop. They say it pays to advertise.
