Ok..here goes....thank you so much for your kind thoughts.

I really don't mind if you post on the other thread...but not by my request please

(I'm an anti-theist and I have never had any religious of prayer type discussions with my family)

I would never want to embarrass you or go against your will so I am glad I ask first. I have made a post and if you have any objections to the post I will kindly remove it.

I just read your post....I guess you probably wouldn't want to say the prayer was for someone struggling with their mum's usual bloody-mindedness (more obvious since Alzheimer's)...lol

    I appreciate your kindness

I am so pleased this is the nominated charity! I'll get some items sorted and ready for listing.

    Just a little update:

We have permission to use the Alzheimer's Society logo in our auctions, publicity etc. etc.

& a lovely lady in the AS office is also asking around the long list of patrons & ambassadors for items to auction.

I emailed the Alzheimer's Society when I heard about this event to let them know it was happening.

I already support this charity and will be taking part in the Memory Walk again this year

    Keeping everyone in the loop..............

    An email received this morning:

    Hi Yvonne

Thank you for sending this information, I have emailed our celebrity team here and am awaiting a reply in regards to items for auction. As promised attached is a copy of our logo and guidelines for use.

Best of luck for the month ahead, and I will update you as soon as I hear from my colleagues.

I will post the Logo & Guidelines when YDC99 is done & dusted.
