Thanks for your reply! Has anyone else noticed 'blurred' pics on sites since IE9 came aboard, or is it just me???

    I deliberately don't use IE, so I wouldn't know.

I'd much rather not have any version of it on my machine and not keep getting stuck with updates for software I don't want, but as MicroStuffed built it into the OS it's impossible to get rid of all of it without crippling the whole machine.

I have both Windows & Ubuntu Operating Systems - use Firefox browsers on both with no hassle.
Tend to stay in Ubuntu 99.9% of the time due to my complete Windows aversion.

    Search: ie9 blurred images

Best option though is to go cold turkey and give up IE for good - get a decent browser.

I agree with the others, try a different browser. Having to use IE in any format for me was complete torture. My experience was you could never X out a page or go to another page until each and every flashy blinking advert was totally loaded. I don't look at those ads, basically they are annoying, but with IE (insert any number) I was forced to "wait around" until I could go about my business. I use firefox without issue on a Windows platform. No issues with it at all.

It is best to keep an extra browser on your machine anyway. My DH had some sort of virus that took over the browser (IE whatever), and would not allow any downloads to fix it, would redirect the URL to something that caused flashing warning messages etc. It was the fact that he had another browser available he was able to find and download the fix.
