The NA Motors shopping experience - Trichy:

Non bike enthusiast's may like to skip this post as it involves Bro's passion of shopping for cheap parts for his Royal Enfield motor bike back at home.
Needless to say, they were given directions to the RE dealership in Trichy & were soon whisked off (by RE's) to the factory/ workshop, where Bro scored some welcome bike parts. One happy chappie!

    #1 A friendly staff welcome.
#2 Sil's ride to the factory. (An RE Thunderbird)
    #3 Bikes waiting for maintenance.
    #4 Some completed.
#5 Mechanical staff team. (love the safety footwear)
    #6 Inside the workshop.
    #7 Work in progress.
#8 Happy & competent in their jobs.
#9 Finally back to the air-con. (after some serious shopping)

Great photos, especially the last one.

The elephant on the street is wild! I can imagine what a commotion that would cause over here.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

    Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple - Trichy:

#1 Looking toward the main gate.
    #2 Ditto.
#3 Once inside = 38c, bare concrete & no shoes allowed. EeeeYowweeeee!
    #4 Path through the gate.
#5 Sil reckons you can never be blessed too many times by Elephants.
#6 While Bro waits his turn at the dangerous end.
#7 One of the deity alter area's.
#8 Some excellent & pretty carvings.
    #9 Ornate stone work indeed.
#10 Back out into the heat & heading for the cool hotel room!

Thank you so much for the travel experience. I know I couldn't do it in person - the heat would kill me

Could you travel to my auctions. Your viewing public are much more than I have for my items.

That poor elephant looked like it could use some good meals.............was pretty skinny. The pics are amazing.........I will have to find a map and see where these places are. Doubt I would ever get there, so it's wonderful to see!!! I bet the sights, sounds and fragrances are amazing! The markets look fantastic, and the architecture is so intricate.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Just amazing! Especially like the shot of your sister in law shaking hands with the elephant, they are such beautiful animals, can't imagine them roaming wild around here, though the kitties sure would get a kick out of it.

Thanks again, your posts make my day.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
