Thread: Hotel Reviews - A Must

  1. #1

Default Hotel Reviews - A Must

If you're planning on visiting the UK and staying at any hotel or if you're planning on staying at a hotel anywhere in the UK for a holiday, Then before you book your hotel, check out tripadvisor.co.uk and read the reviews before booking at any, it will save you making the mistake of booking at a hotel that has very bad reviews.

I think it only fair to hotels to point out that negative experiences are much more likely to be reported than positive ones. I've checked the reviews for a couple of places I've stayed and I hardly recognise them!

Yes Madelaine , this is very true...we always check out the place we fancy , and we check when we leave a review , in a lot of cases it is like 2 different hotels...and thanks anyway Craig...but I would think most folk would check up , but it is not only the UK...check them where ever you are going....have a nice day folks....papa.

Should point out though that Trip Advisor have been getting some grief recently, in the UK at any rate, for alledgedly allowing hotels to post particularly good reviews about themselves, and very negative views about their competitors under the guise of pleased or disgruntled guests. And then being extremely reluctant to remove these fake reviews.

Probably worth looking at more than one review site.

Now if you all bought classic campervans (Bedford cf of course) you wouldn't need to worry about where you're staying.
