Thanks for the well wishes. I actually had wondered if you were ever approached by companies but it sounds like they wanted to short-change you a bit. I would like to be packing 40 guitars a week! Oh well, slowly but surely. Looks like its only the two of us on this forum these days.......

I will be keeping an eye on the guitars, contrary to what some people think, a lot of guitarists ARE collectors, myself included, and we dont want any old guitar but good quality one's renowned for various specifics. I also like good looking ones too (my kinda taste that is)
The collecting becomes almost addictive
(did I say ALMOST?) There are so many styles, types, and characters. Could spend all day discussing their various merits.
A bargain is always an agreeable thing though! ...........

Which do you think would sell better on ebid? Expensive, high-end guitars for the collectors or less expensive, entry level guitars. Curious to hear other people's opinions and trying to wake up the musical instrument forum a bit

I just bought a US$1300.00 vintage special edition Dobro, if that's any help.
Trouble is, it was over on the dark side, as there are no reso's listed here - you see, I did look first!
I'm a player & a collector & I do skulk around checking out what's on offer.

Hmm I suspect you are being modest there Brian, even if the guitar is not your 1st instrument, youre a true and talented musician, you dont fool me!
Youd' definitely be in MY band, waiting for you to move to Cardiff still so we can start our band, and Adruml now too, it seems. See what Fossy's got on too, we could do with him aswell!... ...
