Advice needed on PS3 console

Thinking about getting a PS3, would mormally go for top of the range 250gb,but as I do not do a lot of downloading, I was wondering if it is nessesary to fork out for all that memory.

Does the lower memory detract from the quality of games,blue ray etc ???

I have a PS3 which is an 80gb of which have loads of stuff saved and it has never delivered any poor quality to the Blue Ray or the games.

just been reading some of them, the cost of a 80gb is not much different from the 250gb

I have had mine for over a year with no problems. (I might regret saying that. lol)
Just looked around and it seems 120gb slim is more refined and cooler! it has come down a lot in price even at the local supermarkets!!!!
