    Hi,

I am trying to upload 45rpm records using a file from TL. The p&H just does not want to work for International shipping. I am puitting in the weight at 6oz, calculated. I keep getting this message:

International Shipping This package type cannot be send with postage method selected

I have tried large envelope (which it really is), and package going First Class Mail International. Neither work. I was having problems with Domestic, but I found that by manually putting postage into the field instead of calculated that error disappeared. For International mail every country is different. Thanks for your help

    Greg

After trying every combination I can think of to add items via NL, I used the EXACT same way that I loaded the 1 pound international. I figured I could edit them down to 6oz. No such luck. Upload failed all the same. Very confused at this point:

International Shipping This package type cannot be send with postage method selected (I had ?0*1.0*d**:20,au,at,be,ca,ie,de,es,fr,uk,it,nl,nz, sg,in,za,pt,se,dk,no,hk,eu,as,na,sa,af,oc:04,au - generated by NL)

The ones that accepted at 1 pound had this:
    ?0.00*1.0*d*:04,au,at,be,ca,ie,de,es,fr,uk,us,it,n l,nz,sg,in,za,pt,se,dk,no,hk,eu,as,na,sa,af,oc

    Why the difference?

Solved this myself - somehow. Deleted the file and started over again. Easier to edit stuff on line than to mess with NL

You really needed input from a fellow American. We Brits don't have your complicated postal rates.

Without a doubt, ours is extremely complex. I think too we have some options that you don't even have listed!

I saw a previous post about not having two accounts in NL. Is this still true? I ask because a person who I do listing for (in addition to running my own stuff at ebay and now ebid) is very impressed with ebid BUT there is absolutely no way he has the time to convert his data which probably is 25000+ items. That being said he has asked me if I would be willing to do some of the more common stuff like 7000 Lp's. If this is still the case, one user per NL install, I am guessing it could have multiple installs over multiple pc's unless you are looking at IP addresses. I would put his stuff on my laptop and my own on the desktop. Just looking for feedback on this. Thanks

    Greg

Currently NL only handles one account per install. By all means install on another computer.

I hate to nay say Gazza, but you should be able to run NL for more than one eBid account - as long as you use two separate Windows user accounts (i.e. switch between users). The application and runtime are installed with Administrator privileges and the data files are stores in each user's own Windows user account file structure so there should not be conflict. I have run it that way in the past - but have never actually uploaded to other than my own account.

I would have been more worried about eBid getting touchy about one person accessing another's eBid account - which they have in the past.

Thanks for that bit of info - though it would probably be easier to just run a laptop next to a desktop. However the guy who I may be helping actually has two ebay accounts, as he keeps consignments separate. I may use the multi user option on the laptop

I hate to be a pest, but I have another question. Can you keep the same item in multiple stores? I'm just thinking if you had a general store that has everything in it and separate stores broken down by grouping (books, music, everything else etc). Probablyway more work than I want to do as I already juggle three auction/store websites in addition to this one. Thanks Greg
