Easy. Just park your VW underneath a cruise liner. Weld the roof to the keel and voila, you have enough room for the diesel engine you so desire. Might just be a bit of a b1tch to find a parking space for though.

That thing was a monster wasn't it? I'm not used to thinking in those proportions. I've built many large V-8's. Got a 462 cu.in. in my 50 Studebaker, but that diesel is huge!
