Just started Jane Boleyn by Julia Fox. Jane was Anne Boleyns sister in Law as she was married to her brother George. It'll be interesting to find out what really happened, did she really admit that her husband and Anne were having an incestuous relationship and also did she really help to bring about the downfall of Katherine Howard?
Anyway so far it's a good easy read
Sorry! You were posting your thread just as I was and I missed it! Of course, all a twitter, that's me.
I have just finished reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne. It is the most amazing book, highly recommended. It is something of an 'unfolding plot' sort that is hard to describe without ruining it. Let me just say this book will appeal to just about everyone - no matter what you have heard about so far - it's just wonderful.
It's being made into a movie, but in my opinion, better to read it than go see the movie. Because it is told through the eyes of a nine year old you get into his head and see the world throught his innocent eyes - something I think will be hard for a movie to do.
PS. Big fan of the Lucas Davenport thrillers also. Read all the Prey novels.
at the mo im reading Boiling a Frog by Christopher Brookmyre...love his books all such a different read !
Me, I am reading The Accidental Time Traveller - great stuff.

I'm re-reading Katharine Kerr's Deverry series.
I've recently got the 13th book in the series so will re-read the other 12 first. By the time I get to the 13th I might have managed to get a copy of the 14th

Quantum Theory Cannot Hurt You - A Guide to the Universe, by Marcus Chown. Fascinating, but but trickier going than last week's Swallodale!
A Killer Stitch by Maggie Sefton
Very easy on the brain, just relaxing
