Right now there are only 25 categories for comics and nothing for Golden Age, Atomic Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age or Copper Age
I hate to use the eB** word but after 10 years of staying on their arses, they have a pretty good category structure for comics. A few examples would be:
Comics : Golden Age : Superheroes
Comics : Golden Age : War
Comics : Golden Age : Western
Comics : Golden Age : Funny Animal
Silver Age could be something like this
Comics : Silver Age : Superheroes : Superman
Comics : Silver Age : Superheroes : Batman
Comics : Silver Age : Superheroes : Spider-Man
Comics : Silver Age : Superheroes : X-Men
and so on and on - there are a lot more. However I disagree with eB** on some of their structure as they don't have an Atomic Age - which I believe should be 1950 to 1959 books. Even though a lot of folks like to call Showcase #4 in 1956 as the first Silver Age book, there wasn't much going on until 1960 or so when the Justice League came out and then in 1961 when the Fantastic Four came out.
Overall though, I am very impressed with the site. I can't believe I've been on eB** for 10 years and really just found out about eBid a couple of days ago.
I am certainly going to promote it in the comics community. In fact, I already made a blog entry at Walkin Willies Comix Blog, joined the affiliate program and have begun telling other comic dealers about the site.
I look forward to eBid becoming a great additional sales channel for me.
