I'm trying to think of a jolly good reason as to why I allowed 20 to escape yesterday, and 9 the day before ..... can't think of one, so I will blame whoever was supposed to be on guard duty.
I reckon pte. Cats usually gets the blame, so please may I be exonerated from spud bashing or latrine duties as I have running eyes and nose from sniffing hot fragranced wax - I shall say no more

Good morning! Tea and coffee are done. I lost one over night (well, I must sleep sometime) District nurse is supposed to come today, so that means I can't make plans. later I will have a rummage for some crochet cotton to see if I can make HM's hat. No guarantees for success though. If it is dry outside today, I'll do some washing. Just am fed up with wet clothes around the house. My plans as far as I can make them

Morning, all......Well, Mr. Pheasant II has been around already this morning. It's rained, and has quit for now, so things are seeming normal. Have some candles burning in the living room, as I think something, or someone, has crawled under the wood floor and died. whew. Gotta love old castles in the country.

Mornin' troops at least it's dry on the parade ground even though there isn't any sun. You will be relieved I won't have to go paddling when I go to pick up the Old Soldier's dressings from the chemist !
