What a truly stunning lamp !!!!

Do you have any further info. about it ? I've never seen one in purple and rarely seen other pieces in that colour. Any idea of its age?

I think you should put it on the PYA board, I'm sure it makes some difference as word goes round somehow. Some weeks I put an easy-to-find item on there and only get 20 odd views. But a harder to find piece will sometimes get over 40. It doesn't always translate into a sale but interested people are looking there.

Good morning Marie,
yes, I saw it last night and it had one reply already. Apparently first made in 1936 up to the 50's. I'll leave it until this evening to reply, GMB goes all round the world so people reply when it's day time where they are. Threads tend to drop down quite quickly so my reply will give it a bump.

I've looked more closely at my lamp, particularly the hole for the bulb holder which has a rough / unfinished look to the edge. Is yours the same ? Otherwise both look and measure the same.
