A friend of mine living in the Nederlands had his 50's Oldsmobile converted to run on both regular petrol and LPG. There is an article on it in one of my ROCKET magazines......ROCKET #3.
He was happy with it, and with the economy he was getting from his car. But that was back in the late 90's so things may have changed.
